Welcome back to Arkasia, Hero! The MMO Lost Ark released this August for the popular Amazon Games has quite a bit of content compared to other months. Last month introduced a nice little Stronghold distraction, a pet farm as well as a few other small events to act as catch-up mechanics. Other updates earlier this September saw the groundwork laid for an upcoming server merge (which we’ll get to later).

Aim to take The Lost Ark Machinist
This is all well and good, but the most exciting thing to look forward to is the new shiny thing! Nice to know that coming next week, September 28th, we’ll have a big update. The Western Lost Ark will get the Machinist class and Kakul-Sydon Legion Raid!
Rage against the Machinist
Introducing the Machinist, the next advanced class in Lost Ark. July brings back the Arcanist, May the Devastator and April the Gladiator’s way back. The Machinist in Lost Ark (called Scouter in other regions) is the most technologically advanced class. He uses a trusty drone companion that has more weapons hidden inside than is physically possible. This drone helps analyze and bombard enemies from afar, raining down hell on any helpless monsters.

Machinist up close
The most unique thing about machinists, however, is their class identity. Much like Shadowhunter, the Lost Ark Machinist can transform into a different form using his HyperSync technology suite. Instead of becoming a monster of mass destruction, this class could essentially transform into Ironman. He can also wreak havoc with ease. Hypersync mode gives the machinist a new set of skills.

HyperSync Suite
The Lost Ark Machinist
Like all other classes in Lost Ark, the Machinist has two distinct class carves that greatly alter his playstyle. The first is Evolutionary Legacy, a class engraving that dramatically improves the Machinist’s HyperSync suit mode, making it deal more damage and allowing the user to swap forms more easily without penalty. Arthetinian Skill is the second engraving. It focuses on a joint skill that involves both mechanics and drones together.

Air strike inbound
Machinist skills are divided into three different categories: Normal, Drone, and Joint. General skills focus heavily on the Machinist’s personal abilities, especially with his trusty SMG. This includes the powerful Avalanche that hurls at enemies by firing a cone in front of it.

Destruction mode
Drone skills are attacks that are performed only by mechanical companions. As such, they are all called “Command:Skill Name”. We have attacks such as carpets that rain down carpet bombs, raid missiles, which launch barrages of projectiles, or even baby drones that summon tiny mechanical critters that latch onto enemies and explode.

Avalanche shot
The last is collective competence, which involves both creation and creator. Some of the slickest moves here are the annihilation mode, where drones and machinists roam an area, pelting everything nearby with bullets.
Server incoming merge
To help ensure each region has a healthy population of servers, Amazon Games will implement server merges. These consolidations are being made more pronounced in the Western Europe (EUW), Central Europe (EUC) and South America (SA) regions. A second wave of mergers is also planned for EUW and SA.

They are celebrating the server merge
Amazon Games has posted a number of guidelines on the official Lost Ark site to help remind players how this change will affect players. For those with rosters on only one server there will be effectively no change. Even more complicated is if a player has a roster on two servers that will be joint. In this case, Amazon will combine rosters, currencies, items and everything else. Nothing should be lost, except for items and achievements that cannot truly be duplicated.
The initial list of servers that will be merged and their regions are as follows:
Western Europe
- Shadespire will join Rethramis
- Petrania will join Tortoise
- Tragon will join Moonkeep
- Poonika will be joined by Stoneheart
Central Europe
- Sirius and Septum will combine to form Starlight
- Thaemine and Procyon will form Lazenith together
- Nineveh and Beatrice will combine to form Twilightmist
- Brelshaza and Inanna will unite to create Balthor
South America
- Kurzan will join Agaton
- Verne will join Prideholme
- Yarn will join Gianna
- Phyton will join Arcturus
Arctoberfest of the Lost Ark
One nice event that Lost Ark surprised us with was last week’s announcement of Arktoberfest. To celebrate the beloved annual festival, Oktoberfest, the heroes of Lost Ark can also choose to participate in their own version.

Lost Ark Arktoberfest
From now until October 3rd, various Lost Ark Twitch streamers will enable drops to give their viewers a nice little bear-head cosmetic. It’s basically a mug of cold beer that the characters will be forced to balance on their heads. The perfect opportunity to prove you’re not a drunk and can definitely handle one more mug of ale.

The New Bearhead Cosmetic
A special weekend Fever Time event will also take place. Instead of the usual fever time being limited to just Saturday and Sunday, this Arktoberfest it will be extended to four days. From September 22 to 24, a special fever season will develop. It will give adventurers various food buffs like sausage, pretzels, and gingerbread. Other very useful items can be claimed, such as Pheons and Dye Packs.

Justice rains from above!!
The last weekend in September will also be a blast, as it will have even more prizes. A special reward track will be active on the weekend of September 3 to October 3 This track will progress as long as a player logs in and explores Arcasia for at least 30 minutes a day. Play all 4 days with a minimum of 30 minutes a day and you are sure to get some great rewards!
Finding the Lost Ark
We are still missing the final ark, so it is confirmed to be truly lost. It’s time for Machinist to make sure you don’t get lost, then be sure to check out our various guides or the Lost Ark Wiki.
