Splatoon 3 gives Players have more options to ink than ever, with weapons, abilities, modes and more. Although weapons are grouped into different types, the game has over 50 different options, which can make it difficult to choose what to spend your time with. Like most shooters, you’ll obviously want to experiment and see which weapons feel best for your own playstyle, but there are still some weapons that stand out as better than the rest. Here are our picks for the seven best weapons Splatoon 3.

The last precision weapon added is the Tri-Stinger.Nintendo

The Tri-Stinger is one of two new weapons Splatoon 3, and it can be deadly in the right hands. On top of the base damage, its three projectiles explode a few seconds after impact, so you can destroy the enemy team with good planning. The catch, of course, is that the weapon has a very high skill ceiling and you will need to practice a lot to really get the hang of it.

Bamboozler 14 Mk 1

The Bambuzler packs a bigger punch than any other Charger weapon.Nintendo

Chargers have always been the hardest weapon to use in Splatoon, but can easily be the deadliest. Splatoon’s equivalent sniper, Bamboozla is second to none in terms of range and instant damage. The Bamboozler is the best of the best when it comes to chargers, but it’s much harder to use than other weapons where you need to have precise aim, so it’s not superior.

Range blaster

Range blaster ink is excellent at turf and crowd control.Nintendo

Ranged blasters are easily the best blaster type Splatoon 3, and that’s because it has more range but still packs all the power. The range blaster is explosive, to say the least, and a great choice if you want to focus on the soggy turf instead of targeting enemy players.

Flinga roller

Rollers are usually used for ink turf, but flingzas have better range than most for melee attacks.Nintendo

Rollers are quite different from the rest of the weapons Splatoon 3, and the flingza roller is easily the fastest and easiest to use of the bunch. Players using rollers usually focus on getting turf, but flingza isn’t as heavy as others so you can quickly switch to wide attacks for defense if you need to.

N-Jap ’85

The N-Zap is a throwback to the classic NES Zapper peripheral.Nintendo

The shooter weapon type is the very heart of Splatoon, so it’s no surprise that some of the shooter type weapons are the best in the game. While there’s a lot of nostalgia in the N-Zap, it’s a very balanced weapon that should be easy for anyone to use. The N-Zap has great range, a very high rate of fire and a good ink supply. If you’re in need of a good weapon, look no further.

Splatana Wiper

It took three games to get Katana-type weapons in Splatoon, but it doesn’t disappoint.Nintendo

The Splatana Viper may seem like other melee weapons at first, but it outshines others with its range and power. The Splatana ejects ink directly in front and can be used both vertically and horizontally. Splatanas are fast and versatile weapons, and the Splatana Wiper is easily the best of the bunch.

Glauga dualis

Duel is some of the fastest and most versatile weapons in the game.Nintendo

Duals have the fastest rate of fire of all weapons, but they generally lack range. Usually key words, as Glooga Dualies do great mid-range damage in the game. Dualies have the advantage of letting you dodge by pressing the B button, which increases your firing rate for a few seconds. In the right hands, the Glauga Dualis can be a deadliest weapon Splatoon 3.
