The appeals court allowed the DOJ to resume its review of classified documents found at Mar-A-Lago

A federal appeals court reported this information on Wednesday Department of Justice Can resume using classified documents seized from former presidents Donald TrumpFlorida estate in its criminal investigation.

The Justice Department appealed the ruling by US District Judge Eileen Cannon this month which temporarily prevents the review and use of seized materials for investigative purposes

The Justice Department argued that Cannon’s order impaired the intelligence community’s ability to look at national security risks caused by improperly storing documents.

Cannon said last week that he was not prepared to accept all of the department’s claims at face value without a special master review process.
