LONDON, Sept 22 (Reuters) – Britain’s communications regulator said it will investigate the position of cloud “hyperscalers” Amazon, Microsoft and Google, which together account for about 81% of market revenue, to assess the strength of competition.
It also said Thursday that it will test messaging services such as WhatsApp, FaceTime and Zoom, and other digital markets over the next year, including connected televisions and smart speakers.
