BEIJING, Sept 22 (Reuters) – China’s Commerce Ministry said on Thursday that abuses of U.S. security reviews should be corrected after U.S. President Joe Biden ordered a foreign investment panel to screen deals for data and cyber risks.
Biden last week directed the committee to review foreign investment for national security risks to sharpen its focus on areas such as sensitive information, cybersecurity and microelectronics and artificial intelligence.
