How To Solve Today’s Wordle
The weeks have really flown by, haven’t they? Today is the last day of summer and the first day of autumn. The Fall Equinox occurs at 6:03 p.m., which means you woke up today and it was still summer, but when you go to bed tonight, summer will be over. It’s kind of a weird thought.
There is an intelligence to autumn that is beautiful but also a little sad and haunted. I guess that’s why it’s the perfect time of year for Halloween. The world dies around us and its death is beautiful and often spectacular. Before the green leaves fall off and become mulch.
Then gradually the flame dies out and the branches become barren. Winter begins to awaken itself, slowly waking up from summer hibernation. We feel its chill long before December and then welcome the season with the Festival of Lights at Christmas. The scorching autumn canopy is replaced by the smell of crackling stoves and wood smoke.
But hey, there’s still a sliver of summer left. Let’s do this Wordle and then go outside and play!

Solution to Wordle #460
Dang, getting this out of three reminds me that I got a word under four years ago. I had a two-guess word a while ago but it was a rare surprise. Mostly, I get four of these, sometimes five. Sometimes six.
Today, my first guess was kind of rubbish but it synced up nicely with the final answer. choir Only brought the total down to 478, which is a fat number. thanks, takes Got three more correct letters leaving me with one green and three yellow. At this point, I had no idea the only two options I was left with.
I swapped the T and S and once I moved the ‘I’ to the only remaining space, I was left with only one letter that would work: N. So I went with it and to my joy, victory! Huzzah!
